Now M&S has hit on another summer wardrobe must-have trend: polka dots
First the brand sold out of its Polka Dot Culottes, which have since been restocked. Then it released a skirt version of the trendy garment, which is proving to be equally as popular.
Thankfully, the Polka Dot Plisse Midi Fit & Flare Skirt is now back in stock, although how long for – no-one knows, as we predict this style will be hot property this season.
The skirt comes as black with white spot print and white with black dots.
The design boasts an elasticated waistband, is lined for extra coverage and falls mid-way down the calf with a slightly flared silhouette.
What’s more the Fit & Flare skirt comes in a regular and longer lengths, both of which are available in dress sizes 6 to 24.
What we love most is that the plisse fabric means we can get away without ironing the skirt. It won’t look creased or untidy, even if has been scrunched in your suitcase ready for your holiday.
The skirt is super versatile and can be worn with a vest top or T-shirt and sandals, for a casual everyday look.
But those who want to up the ante and go full glam, can pair the ensemble with a pair of heeled wedges and cami top.
However, those who do not want to think about a top and skirt combo, may prefer the M&S’ Spot Plisse Mini Swing Dress, which costs £45.
The A-line one-piece also comes in both black with white polka dot, or white with black print, and is fully lined with a back button fastening.
