If you’re looking for weekend outfit inspiration, you’ve come to the right place. Today, Emily Ratajkowski shook up Instagram in an ultra-mini, long sleeve dress. The body-skimming piece came printed in zebra, along with a matching cowboy hat. For a kick of contrast, Emrata opted for a pair of red square-toe slingback sandals. The over-the-top dress, along with her glinting chandelier earrings that grazed her shoulders, was right for the setting: a Miami-esque tiled room with a white spiral staircase.
The bombastic look felt like it was plucked out of the cult-beloved film Showgirls (1995), and echoed the movie’s cheeky, saucy, and bold style. (Look up: “Nomi Malone highway” and you’ll see what I mean: cowboy hat and animal print, and all.) The zebra print get-up also is quite different from Ratajkowksi’s sun-soaked looks that she has been posting this past summer. Mostly we’ve seen her in sweat shorts and swimsuits. This outfit was far more dressed up. Our only question is: What’s the occasion?
