Boden has now confirmed to Good Housekeeping UK that the stylish piece in question is its Viola Maxi Shirt Dress. Sadly for those of us who would love to emulate Kate's latest outfit, the dress in question has now sold out, but we love the way the royal has styled it with classic white trainers for a cool and contemporary look that is bang on trend.

Kate was pictured in the dress as part of a short video about her latest initiative in support of UK baby banks. The duchess has brought together 19 brands and retailers to donate over 10,000 new items to more than 40 baby banks across the nation, in a bid to help some of the country's most vulnerable families.
