RALEIGH, N.C. -- Dress for Success Triangle is known for its career services to women.
The non-profit had to cancel its spring gala and clothing sale due to the pandemic. This weekend they're back to helping the public with a buy-one-get-one sale on its clothing items.
“We are really excited to get these items into peoples’ hands,” said executive director Heather Dennis.
Name-brand clothes are donated from the public and boutiques. Women seeking jobs can then obtain those clothes.
What’s not used for their clients seeking employment are put on display for the sale at a deep discount.
“Both our July and our August donations, we got very close to 300 boxes of donations each month so we are definitely seeing the results of people who are home and taking the time to clean out their closets,” Dennis said.
The sale is taking place Friday beginning at 11 a.m. and Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at their location on 1812 Tillery place in Raleigh.
They will also be taking donations September 23- 26 with a special need for medical scrubs and size 16 and up clothing sizes.
