Cynthia Bailey is married! The Real Housewives of Atlanta model and businesswoman wed Mike Hill on Saturday, October 10. And for her walk down the aisle, Cynthia switched a traditional bridal look for a glittering, vintage-inspired gown in a romantic shade of blush pink.
Cynthia's glamorous affair called for a bridal gown that was anything but expected. She turned to designer Nneka C. Alexander of Brides by Nona to create a dazzling gown with sheer, nude panels, a crystal embellished bodice, and beaded details that spanned her waist and diaphanous train. The custom-made dress mixed art deco touches with ornate, hand-adorned lace for a dramatic bridal look like no other. We don't know which element we swooned over the most... the laced open back, the nude-illusion long sleeves with swooping crystal clusters, or the plunging overlay neckline.
But it wasn't just the soft, petal pink hue and curve-hugging silhouette that had us doing a double take. Cynthia also side-stepped a basic tulle veil for a face-framing, gleaming coverup that shined almost as brightly as the bride herself. She pinned the floor-length veil with a little help from a diamond, floral hair accessory that featured subtle tones of her dusty rose color palette.
Cynthia looked like royalty complete with her shimmering rose gold eyeshadow and coordinating pink metallic lip color.
The vintage-inspired theme of the night continued in Cynthia's second bridal look that was fit for a night of dinner and dancing. Her sleek, white column dress included sparkling, sheer panels and a bold, art-deco-influenced single shoulder silo topped off with oversized pearl and crystal drop earrings and a dazzling hair accessory.
It was a bridal look fit for the queen she is.
