It’s Thanksgiving 2020, and though they’re not exactly similar to humans, turkeys – in the form of art – were also unable to avoid changes in lifestyle, priorities and even apparel choices during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Things were a tad different this year, as The Enquirer was not able to accept the colorful birdies via standard mail, but that did not stop this tried-and-true turkey tradition. We received 521 online gobbler submissions for the 32nd annual Dress the Turkey contest, and the results were as on-point as ever.
Four bird creators are winning $100 each from The Enquirer in these categories: Overall winner; age 0-12; age 13-20; and age 21 and over.
Whether you’re celebrating the holiday with loved ones via Zoom or a smaller gathering than usual, we hope you’ll enjoy these festive pieces of artwork from readers across the Cincinnati region.
Here are the top four winners of The Enquirer's Dress the Turkey contest sponsored by Watson's (followed by a heaping side dish of several other favorites).
