The Krewe of Muses is taking action to help save struggling businesses during the pandemic.
Many businesses along parade routes in New Orleans rely on Mardi Gras parades and the crowds they bring. Like so many businesses in the city, these local businesses are struggling to stay open due to pandemic restrictions and the city canceling Mardi Gras parades.
That is why Muses is hosting Stilotto.
The super-krewe is known for their iconic glittery high heel shoes, and so, they are raffling off these iconic throws aimed at bringing people back to these local businesses.
Here’s how to play according to Muses’ Stilotto website:
- Stilotto runs from January 20th to February 10th. Check out the list and map of participating businesses below.
- Visit participating businesses and find (or ask for) the Muses placard. Scan the QR code to pull up the Stilotto entry form.
- You can enter once per day at each business.
Note: If you enter more then once per day at a business, the computer will discard the extra entries. Maximum prize of three shoes per winner.
- Each participating business will have one Stilotto winner.
Winners will receive a coveted Muses glitter shoe. The more businesses you visit each day, the better your chances!
- Muses will draw the winners on Muses ‘tHERsday’ – February, 11th. Winners will be announced on this website and will receive a notification email.
- All shoes must be picked up at a socially distant drive-by at the Muses Den (address to be provided later) between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14th.
- No employees or owners of businesses on the route may enter at their own business.
