Hailey Baldwin and her stylist Maeve Reilly proved their impressive dressing skills in a homemade challenge with a unique twist.
Taking on the “Tin Foil Challenge” for her new YouTube channel, Baldwin managed to create a surprisingly chic look made only from aluminum foil. The outfit included a bandeau top with a matching mini skirt and a daring set of boots.
The thigh-high leather pair came set atop a sleek pointed-toe front with a lifted heel and a slightly slouchy fit.
Thigh-high boots as well have quickly become the must-have boot silhouette this season. From leather twists on the trend to edgy lace-up styles, you can find the daringly high shoes on everyone from Ciara to Lily Collins and Gwen Stefani amongst other major stars. In colder temperatures, the silhouette offers coverage to counter shorter hems of skirts and shorts as well as provides an extra layer to any leggings or jeans look.
When she isn’t in bold boosts or homemade skirts, you can oftentimes find Baldwin herself in a mix of on-trend footwear and more casual attire. Spotted out and about last week with Justin Bieber, for example, the chic duo opted for their own takes on off-duty attire. Hailey modeled one of her favorite outfit combinations for the occasion: an oversize coat, white crop top and mom jeans. She furthered the look with gold jewelry and her go-to brogues.
The lace-up shoes highlighted glossy patent leather uppers atop an exposed welt-stitched sole. Coming from Dr. Martens, the low-top 1461 Oxford silhouette came finished with a textured outsole and a retail price of $110 at DrMartens.com.

The model’s experience in the fashion industry extends beyond stylish off-duty wear. The media personality worked with Levi’s to star in their summer ’20 campaign alongside Jaden Smith and most recently joined the denim brand to help launch its SecondHand upcycling initiative. She has also appeared in marketing campaigns for brands such as Guess, Zadig & Voltaire, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. What’s more, in 2016, the A-lister joined forces with Ugg, starring in the label’s Classic Street Collection campaign for fall ’16.
The new Superga ambassador‘s shoe closet also includes an eclectic mix beyond her ambassadorships. On top of her go-to Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, she has been spotted wearing sneakers from Chanel, Off-White and Nike x Fear of God collabs, as well as heels from Tabitha Simmons and Jimmy Choo. The media personality’s new go-to brand for shoes is Bottega Veneta, falling in line with trending celeb-favorite styles from the label that every “it” girl is wearing.
