One man’s trash is another man’s art project.
Several Zumbrota businesses will display community art projects made from and with trash and recycled objects through May 1.

The Zumbrota Independent Business Alliance and the Zumbrota Area Arts Council invited community members to drop off “Trash Art” in early April.
The project was inspired by Dennison artist Dina Fesler, who turns the trash generated by her own household into art. Flowers on Main, My Happy Place, Phenomenal Woman, Wild Ginger Boutique, and Dwell Local will display upcycled dresses by Fesler until May 1.
The community “Trash Art” entries are available in windows of the former "All In Stitches" quilt shop, 308 S Main St., Zumbrota. Viewers can vote on their favorites inside Wild Ginger.
