It's that time of year again! Target's second Designer Dress Capsule is here. This year, Target elected to team up with the fashion industry's heavy-hitter newcomers Christopher John Rogers, ALEXIS, and RIXO to create 70 exclusive dresses. Not only is this a landmark collaboration in terms of affordable design, the dresses are offered in the most inclusive sizes Target has ever created, ranging from XXS-4X.
But let's talk about the designs: They are overflowing with color, energy, and personality. From Christopher John Rogers' trademark graphic prints and voluminous silhouettes, to RIXO's signature vintage inspired aesthetic, to ALEXIS's modern, effortless garments, there is something for everyone (or every mood) in this collaboration. When approaching their designs, all 3 designers looked to the idea of self-expression as their inspiration. Creating beautiful, architectural, and most importantly, affordable dresses allows everyone to join in on the fun that's usually reserved for the haute couture customers, or young fashion moguls. The collaborations have definitely reminded us of the true joy that comes with dressing up.
Be sure to stop back in when the collection drops at 3:00 AM EST on Sunday, May 16th to shop all your summer dress necessities. The collection is expected to sell out quickly, so be wary should you choose to abandon your cart. However, if you do miss your favorites in the online launch, the collection will be available in select stores for a limited time.
