Taylor Swift treated her fans to an early holiday gift on November 25, releasing “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions” — an intimate concert film featuring performances of all the tracks from her Grammy-nominated album — on Disney+.
In addition to showcasing the 30-year-old singer-songwriter’s musical process, the doc is packed with stellar fall fashion pieces, from a Stella McCartney coat ($1,695) to pumpkin spice-hued Madewell pants ($88).
But it’s one of Swift’s longtime favorite labels, Free People, that’s featured the most. The pop star performs each of her “Folklore” songs wearing the brand’s plaid Rodeo Renegade Dress ($148), and chats with collaborator Aaron Dessner wearing the Lux Velvet Shirt Dress ($198) — the latter of which is currently on sale for 50 percent off during Free People’s Black Friday sale.
That’s right — today only, you can scoop up a Swift-approved frock that’s every bit as cozy as your favorite pajamas for under $100. With its oversized fit and button-up design, it’s the perfect festive look to wear while lounging around the house this season.
Of course, there’s more prime finds to be had in the one-day sale. Over 300 Free People items are marked down right now, including the Ella Puffer Coat ($84, usually $168), Adella Maxi Slip ($64, usually $128), Pretty Pineapple Dress ($74, usually $148) and other popular picks.
In other words, you’d better shop swiftly.
